V-Rooms™ Virtual Data Rooms announced today that they have completed their migration of all V-Rooms™ services to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This transition allows V-Rooms™ to enable additional online security measures as its users are increasingly accessing information from around the globe.
Along with this transition, V-Rooms™ reconfirms that their platform is 100% compliant with SEC Rule 17G-5, HIPPA, FDA CFR 21 Part 11, and FATCA for 2014/2015 and is Safe Harbor certified. These rules all certify the security and confidentiality of sensitive data such as financial files, legal documents and personal health information.
“The V-Rooms™ solution meets and often exceeds banking level security requirements for our clients’ documents,” said Karen Perkins, President of V-Rooms™, “Financial and medical professionals face many compliance requirements to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and personal information, and we are proud to reaffirm full compliance with the major regulations facing financial, legal and life science firms.”
“The migration to the AWS environment will open new and more flexible opportunities for V-Rooms’ clients,” said Dan Bradbary, CEO of V-Rooms™. “By allowing users easier global access to our solution, we have paved the way to launch new exciting products such as a clearinghouse of open requests for deal funding and family office direct investment opportunities.”
