V-Rooms™ Virtual Data Rooms, in association with The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA), announces its first annual M&A Due Diligence Checklist Competition.
The winners will be announced at the 2014 AM&AA Summer Conference, “Evolve: Capturing Opportunities in Today’s Market”, which will be held in at the JW Marriott in Chicago, July 22-24. The line-up of professionals attending include over 500 attendees and executives from preeminent investment banks and intermediaries, leading private equity investors, senior and mezzanine lenders, CPA’s, attorneys, business valuators, consultants, and other advisors.
“We are excited about this checklist competition as we are building up to our 2014 AM&AA Summer Conference,” said Michael Nall, Managing Director of AM&AA. “We expect that this contest will provide not only a fun, rewarding experience, but also allow M&A professionals, lawyers, other financial advisors in our association to learn from each others’ best practices.”
To enter, due diligence checklists must be submitted between June 26, 2014 and July 18, 2014. The M&A Due Diligence Checklists can have been used in transactions across a variety of industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, Transportation, Professional Services, Commercial Real Estate, Technology, Consulting, Energy, Life Sciences, Consumer Products and more.
Each individual may submit one checklist per industry and the overall winner will receive a one day pass to the 2015 AM&AA Winter Conference in Las Vegas (valued at $745). For more details or to submit an entry, click here.
The overall winner will be selected by a panel of M&A professionals and announced at the AM&AA Summer Conference. All of the checklists, each identified by the individual who submitted them, will be assembled in a V-Rooms™ virtual data room, which may be accessed only by individuals who participate in the contest. This will ensure that only participating individuals will be able to view other submissions.
