V-Rooms™ Virtual Data Rooms announced today that V-Rooms Pro is now 100% compliant with SEC Rule 17G-5, Safe Harbor certification rules, HIPAA, FDA CFR 21 Part 11, and FATCA.
V-Rooms™ Pro is the upgraded version of the V-Rooms™ virtual data room platform. It includes the ability for individual users to access multiple projects and data rooms with the same username and to batch download entire projects. This release also improves security, performance, and the administrative and user interfaces.
“V-Rooms™ Pro is the future of our organization,” said Karen Perkins, President of V-Rooms, “and we are excited to announce its full compliance with the major regulations facing virtual data room clients.”
SEC Rule 17G-5, Safe Harbor certification rules, HIPAA, CFR 21 Part 11, SAS 16 Type II, and FATCA all certify the security and confidentiality of sensitive data such as financial files, legal documents and personal health information. These rules protect consumers, employees and corporations from theft, duplication and corporate espionage.
“Being compliant with these regulations shows how flexible the V-Rooms™ Pro platform is and how we are innovating the use of cost-effective virtual data rooms across many different industries,” said Dan Bradbary, CEO of V-Rooms™. “The V-Rooms™ Pro platform makes it very easy to customize a solution to meet our client’s needs for sharing confidential information beyond their systems’ firewalls.”
