V-Rooms™ announced today that a third-party security compliance firm has determined that the V-Rooms™ Virtual Data Room application is compliant with HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations as a part of their annual audit. Being rated HIPAA compliant allows V-Rooms™ Virtual Data Rooms, whose business is primarily in mergers and acquisitions, FINRA compliant online private placement memorandum distribution, and legal document management, to continue to expand its market into biotech, pharmaceutical and FDA clinical trial secure document management.

V-Rooms™ Virtual Data Rooms expects to see continued growth in 2013 within the life science and medical research community as it continues to tailor its product towards their needs. In 2012, V-Rooms™ expanded its product to include features tailor-made for accounting firms, such as having a single-login for multiple document repositories — one for each client — and also saw a 67% increase in corporate clients.
