On Oct 4 2012, V-Rooms™ official launched a redesigned version of its website offering a more clear, concise, and streamlined presentation of its virtual data room software-as-a-service.
The website redesign corresponds with V-Rooms™ transition to Version 5.0 which improved security, including an improved custom password policy management tool that allows room administrators to set unique, complicated password rules for their organization.
Version 5.0 also included improvement to and simplification of the user interface of the virtual data room program interface. The look and feel of V-Rooms.com™ now matches Version 5.0’s improvements to the program’s mimalistic and easy-to-use interface.
Version 5.0 includes V-Rooms achieving major regulatory and compliance certification milestones including achieving European Union Safe Harbor status, CFR 21 FDA Part 11 Validation, and SEC Rule 17g-5 Validation. V-Rooms™ also maintained its SSAE 16 Type II Certification of its data center.
In the same time period, V-Rooms was showered with awards and recognition for its virtual data room product. Acquisition International Magazine declared it to be the “Best Overall Virtual Data Room Provider of 2012.” Corporate INTL declared V-Rooms to be the “2012 Private Equity Data Room Provider of the Year in the USA” and the 4th Annual International M&A Advisor Awards labeled it as the “M&A Product/Service of the Year.”
Likewise, the V-Rooms™ website was also updated to emphasise these visual changes, certifications, and awards.
