V-Rooms – Virtual Data Rooms Expands Corporate Defense Litigation Support

Tuesday, October 18, 2011

Summary: V-Rooms, a leading provider of internet based virtual data rooms for managing corporate banking, financial and legal projects, announced enhancements to its cloud computing program to expand the capabilities of its Corporate Defense Litigation Support Division.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 18, 2011 — V-Rooms , a leading provider of internet based virtual data rooms for managing corporate banking, financial and legal projects, announced enhancements to its cloud computing program to expand the capabilities of its Corporate Defense Litigation Support Division.

In addition to a project management communications “home page”, a number of other enhancements include full text search capabilities and the addition of administrator defined fields for improved database management file tagging of documents. For additional security and confidentiality, specific documents in the document repository may now be made available for individuals or shared with only certain groups. This provides the ability to create folders for witnesses, depositions, pleadings and motions, while limiting access to that sensitive information on a “need to know” basis.

“We are excited to release this new upgrade to V-Rooms to reinforce the services we currently provide through our Defense Litigation Support Division. Our system is paving the way for in-house corporate legal professionals and their external counsel to move toward an innovative litigation document management solution, at a fraction of the cost of the old paper-based methods,” said Dan Bradbary, CEO of Due Diligence Online, LLC, parent company of V-Rooms Virtual Data Rooms. “We continue to offer one of the most cost-effective, feature-rich virtual data room solutions on the market.”

Using the audit/tracking reports the administrator is fully aware of who has accessed each document and when. Also, in employing Digital Rights Management (DRM) controls, the printing, saving and transferring of information may be limited for certain individuals. All of these document controls and tracking capabilities are available within a secure online “cloud computing” program that is outside the firm’s firewall and provides for around-the-clock document collaboration, which is increasingly important in this global economy.
